Tour FS-1: Felucca sail (Duration: 2
hours)
Get away from it all and sail away to Banana
Island.
Picnic lunch included OR take tea as you sail into the sunset.
Tour FS-2: Sail Trek (Duration: 5 days -
min. 4 persons)
This tour is for the more adventurous and is ideal
for those who are seeking a more intimate way to
sail the Nile. You will be well taken care of by Capt. Abd El
Atti
who has been sailing these waters for over 25 years.
Fresh food is cooked on board for you. A canvas canopy
is a sunshade during the day, and at night you sleep on
mattresses on open deck beneath the stars. A portable
toilet is available on board, but be prepared to rough it
out and use nature's facilities as you stop at the various
islands along the way. Sample itinerary in brief:
Day 1- Drive to Esna and visit the Temple of Khnum in
Esna.
Embark felucca and sail. Overnight Damouriah Island.
Day 2- Sail to Edfu. Arrive around noon. Visit the
Temple of Edfu. Overnight Saraj island.
Day 3- Sail to Kom Ombo. Overnight Mehina Island.
Day 4- Visit the Temple of Kom Ombo.
Sail to Aswan. Overnight El Bestawy.
Day 5- Arrive Aswan around noon. Disembark and
transfer to your hotel. Afternoon visit the Temple
of Philae. Overnight in Aswan.
Note: You may wish to extend your tour or
return to
Cairo the next day.
Tour BE-1: Hot air ballooning (Duration: 4
hrs)
As you drift peacefully high in the skies, you
will have a
bird's eye view of the magnificent wonders of the West Bank
and the surrounding countryside. Sometimes you will fly
so low you will be able to exchange greetings with the
people below. Your flight includes transfers from your hotel to
balloon site. Flight time (minimum 45 mins.). Full breakfast
served
in the desert, catered by Hilton Hotel. Certificate to
commemorate this special event. An unforgettable experience.
Tour DS-1: Sinai Desert Safari
( Duration: 4 days - min. 4 persons)
Day 1: Drive via the Suez Canal (photo
stop) along the coast
through the Oasis of El Firan. Overnight St. Catherine camp.
Day 2: Early morning climb Mt. Sinai (optional). Visit
St. Catherine's
monastery (if open). Drive through El Akhdar Oasis. overnight at
Bir Iqna camp.
Day 3: Visit the petrified forest. Drive to Serabit El
Khadem. Visit
the Temple of Hathor. Overnight in Serabit El Khadem camp.
Day 4: Visit the turquoise mines. Return to Cairo.
